The AWebS networking is not constrained to the vehicle itself; its capabilities reach far beyond: Mobile communication standards such as GSM, GPRS, EDGE, CDMA, UMTS, EV-DO or RTT allow AWebS to access worldwide information networks, like the world wide web or internet. The scaleable AWebS on board unit provides rugged mobile internet connectivity and features an optimized browser with vehicle specific capabilities and interfaces. The browser offers access to various services and functions provided by servers which are online connected to the vehicle.
Because of the interactive system features the services can be operated automatically and dependent on location, velocity, environment brightness, car data, temperature etc.
Thanks to this architecture AWebS is an extremely flexible and extendable multi talent with unlimited opportunities for various fields of application:
